I recently talked to my husband about a challenge I was having and my fears concerning the challenge. He began ministering to me about faith and trusting God. He said something that stopped me in my tracks and made me flashback to all the times God has brought me through difficult situations. It was possibly not how I would have wanted things to go at the time, but God was there with me while I was going through each situation. That realization birthed this blog post, “He Was There All The Time”.
God didn’t leave me during the dark, difficult times in my life. While I didn’t know to look for him, he was there. While I didn’t see him, God was there. He was there when I was deserted, to hold my hand and keep me going. God was there during times of abuse to keep me from losing my mind. He was there when I was knocked down mentally, physically, and emotionally to pick me up, dust me off, love me, and put me back on course. And now God is here with me as I begin the next chapter of my life. He’s pointing me in the right direction, opening doors, and whispering his vision into my ears. He promised he’d never leave me nor forsake me, and he hasn’t. He’s been there all the time. For that God, I thank you, I praise your holy name. Take time to consider how he’s been there all the time for you. Praise his holy name.
After accepting that God has been there all the time, I had to come to the honest realization that some dreams and desires haven’t manifested in my life today because I had not walked under the full power of the Holy Spirit. I had not allowed myself to realize that God has been there all the time. Take time to consider God’s presence in your life and know he’s with you every step of the way.
Scriptures for Consideration
Psalm 16: 11 “You will make known to me the way of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; In Your right hand there are pleasures forever.”
Deuteronomy 31:8 “And the Lord is the one who is going ahead of you; He will be with you. He will not desert you or abandon you. Do not fear and do not be dismayed.”
Mathew 28:20b “and behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

Thank you for this! I’m undergoing a huge challenge now and it definitely helps to remember all the times of the past, when I thought I was alone, but God was always there. I know that He is with me now too. Sometimes we need a reminder, and I appreciate it! 🙏
Yes and remember, the devil is a deceiver. Keep your eyes on Jesus and allow the Holy Spirit to direct your path. I’m believing with you Traci that you will overcome your challenge.
What a blessing to know God has been and will be with you at all times. Because we can’t SEE Him, it’s easy to forget He’s there. However, we can see Him clearly when we look through the eyes of faith.
Thank you for the reminder that He’s Been There the Whole Time!
Thanks for your feedback, Lady Dew! Looking through the eyes of faith. I’m going to use that when occasions warrant.
